Webinar:         Introduction to Multi-Core & Multi OS Systems in Embedded Devices

Presenter:       Steve Elliott, Dedicated Systems Australia

The availability and proliferation of multi-core processors is driving their usage in modern embedded and real-time systems.

Incorporating multi-core processors into traditional embedded designs brings with it numerous benefits in terms of flexibility and reduced power consumption.  The associated cost, however, presents itself as increased complexity to the developer.

This presentation will provide an introduction to Multi-core and Multi-OS usage in embedded systems.  It will outline the benefits and challenges presented and focus on how Wind River is addressing those challenges from a software perspective.
