The DNR-6-1G RACKtangle chassis is an ideal choice for a myriad of Ethernet data acquisition and control applications where small footprint and high performance are desired. It is compact, rugged and an ideal substitute for VME technology, being smaller, more modern and lower in cost.

The DNR-6-1G supports a rapidly growing variety of I/O boards, currently over 30. It is configurable with over 5 quadrillion different configurations and supports standard off-the-shelf products, making it ideally suited for a wide variety of industrial, aerospace, automotive and laboratory data acquisition and control applications.
Though the backplane electronics are identical to our popular PowerDNA “Cube” series, the PowerDNR RACKtangle series provides two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and provides slots for up to 6 I/O boards, allowing the I/O boards to be quickly and easily installed and removed directly from the front of the rack. These capabilities dramatically increase performance and simplify system reconfiguration when necessary.
The DNR-6-1G functions in true real-time. It functions with 1 millisecond updates guaranteed with 1000 I/O and up to 6 million samples per second. Connection options are flexible, supporting WiFi, GMS and Cell network connections, built-in USB 2.0 slave/controller ports and 1000Base-T via Cat-5 cable.
No system is complete without software. The DNR-6 rack is supported by all the popular Windows, Vista, Linux, and Real-time operating systems. The UEIDAQ Framework included with the rack provides a simple and universal API and supports all common programming languages.
